What awaits you?

• You will be responsible for the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and be able to adequately explain and resolve any variances.
• You will be responsible for assisting with month-end closing and perform allocated tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
• You will ensure the company purchasing process is adhered to across the business and provide support where required.
• You will be an SAP expert for the business and facilitate training for new SAP users.
• You will be responsible for reviewing and verifying employees expense reimbursements and ensure compliance with company policy.
• You will correspond with vendors and associates regarding Accounts Payable enquiries.
• You will perform regular payment runs to ensure vendors are paid in a timely manner.

Qualifications & Experience         

• A tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance required.
• Previous accounting experience essential, with financial services industry exposure preferable.
• Proven proficiency in mathematics, with a track record of applying quantitative skills to complex problems and analytical tasks.
• Ability to work proactively with advanced organisational skills, a growth mindset and the ability to prioritise tasks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Possess an advanced knowledge of Excel, with experience in SAP considered highly advantageous.
