Our HR team is looking for a Senior HR Manager to join our National Sales Company (NSC).
What awaits you?
- You will be responsible for leading HR practices and objectives to foster an employee-focused, high-performance culture that emphasises empowerment, quality and productivity, while ensuring alignment with organisational strategies and legal requirements.
- You will be responsible for maintaining and developing best practice HR processes across topics including but not limited to succession planning, learning and development, company governance, employee retention and engagement.
- You will be responsible for guiding the organisation to best meet corporate objectives, within budget and headcount.
- You will be responsible for advising managers on relevant employment legislation and changes, workforce planning topics and ensuring that business practices are aligned and compliant (including agency contractor management regulation rules).
- You will be responsible for creating and implementing company policies and aligning across BMW Australia and BMW New Zealand and overseeing payroll.
Qualifications & Experience
- University degree in HR (or alternatively an applicable degree or industry experience).
- Specialised training in key areas including employment law, compensation, organisational planning and development, employee relations (including mediation), and safety management.
- Proven HR leadership experience is required, with experience in an international organisation desirable.
- Demonstrated negotiation, conflict resolution and counselling abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and present to all levels of management.
